Guilherme Santos Silva
Trainee Lawyer
Guilherme Santos Silva has been a member of Franco Zibaia since 2024, as a trainee lawyer.
Guilherme obtained his degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2023), and holds a Master's Degree in Public International Law (LL.M.) from the University of Leiden (2024), with a thesis entitled “Global Green Transition within Investor-State Arbitration: An Insight into the Protection of Fossil Fuel Investments under the Energy Charter Treaty and State's Compliance with Climate Change Obligations”.
He has a postgraduate degree in Arbitration Law from the Private Law Research Center (CIDP) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2023), and is currently attending the Postgraduate course in Energy Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal (2024-2025).
As part of his internship, he has participated in the preparation of procedural documents, monitored public procurement procedures and carried out legal analyses in various areas.
Registered at the Portuguese Bar Association as a trainee lawyer since 2024.
