Afonso Cunha Somsen
Trainee Lawyer
Afonso Cunha Somsen joined Franco Zibaia in 2025.
Before joining Franco Zibaia, Afonso worked at the Central Lisbon University Hospital Center (currently the São José Local Health Unit), where he prepared procedures and monitored the execution of multiple public contracts (2020-2024) and began his internship as a lawyer at the law firm Caiado Guerreiro (2024).
Afonso obtained his degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2024 and has postgraduate training in Theory and Practice of Administrative and Tax Litigation from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2025).
At Franco Zibaia, he has developed his activity mainly in the areas of Public Procurement and Civil Service Law, as well as carrying out legal analyses in other areas.
Registered with the Portuguese Bar Association as a trainee lawyer since 2024.
